things never change. they never do.

You deserve to be with somebody who makes you happy. Somebody who doesn't complicate your life. Somebody who wont hurt you. He's the better guy.

i have a story. it's a sad one.

there's this guy who never felt love before in his life. he had a multitude of girlfriends but never really went all the way with them. he couldnt understand the rationale of love. his parents were never around. he felt as if they were dead. every birthday instead of hugs, he gets dozens of presents, but the parents were never around. when he grew up, he felt a longing for love. but he knew he would never get it. one day, he met a nice girl, someone whom he could share his life with. they got married quickly. and soon had a child. he thought she was the love of his life. but he was unsure about it. soon after they got married and had their daughter, she began to stay out late and often didnt come home at night. he knew he had lost his wife. but he couldnt bear to divorce her. not for the sake of the child. tragically, the wife died from a car accident one day when her daughter was 2. he had to bring the child up. he gave the child all the attention he could. fed her, cuddled her, made her nice things and taught her how to read. but he never taught her love. he couldnt. how could he? he never felt love at all in his life before. maybe he never felt it at all. he knew he cared for his daugther. but was that love? for all the 30 years of his life, no girl has ever told him what love was. not even his dead wife. so he couldnt teach love to his daughter. but he hoped someday he would. everyyear on his anniversary, he would bring the daughter to the grave. everyyear, he would stand at that grave and cry. simply because he felt betrayed. felt betrayed for all the things he had done. cos he knew he loved his wife a lot. but she still hurt him a lot. year after year has passed. the girl is now 6. when they reached the grave, the dad picked her up and told her about her mum. while relating the story, he cried. his daughter started to tear too. and she asked, "why are you crying, daddy?" "daddy is crying because all the women in this world that daddy thought he loved, didnt love daddy. in fact, they left daddy. all the time" when she heard her daddy say this, she hugged him tighter and said, "i love you daddy, im right here. i wont leave you." tears rolled down his cheeks. that was when he felt love.
