i could end up being senile.
i was having lunch with gene when a girl from an australian university came up and asked us to
fill out a survey on relationships. gene looked at me. i looked at gene. we didn't say a word. he shook his head and said "no, im not in a relationship" and he paused. so the girl promptly asked me whether im married. to which gene responded "are you?"
i don't know which is more depressing. admitting to a total stranger im not attached or realising im old enough to be married.
last week, during pesta pantun, this old woman asked if i was married. she happens to be a matchmaker. and she was passing around cards. well done la. happens to be djamal tukimin's wife. heh. oh well. to be considerate i took the card. tho i doubt i'll be needing it soon.
last night, someone from prudential called me up and informed me of my upcoming job interview on monday. i never did apply for any job for that matter. and i doubt anyone who is my friend would want to recommend me for a job without telling me first. tho i think it is a sweet gesture on anyone's part. so i took the offer up. even tho i'll be like kayaking around the island till 5. hahaha. oh well. what harm can it do? just that i have to do up my resume. which i already have done (at least 90% of it, inspired by f who was doing hers). just that i realised i dont have a working foto of me. so yeah.
man utd liverpool at anfield in abt 10 mins time. wonder whether it would be one hell of a match or a dull boring one. liverpool always had that boring streak in them. never as exciting as an arsenal, chelsea match. heh
during lunch yesterday, i was talking to this friend of mine. we were talking about life, always have been like that between us for as long as i could remember. she just said something that really struck me.
"possibly marriage is about two people adapting and sharing your dreams to suit the other"
i wish i could adapt. but
The approximate distance as the crow flies from SINGAPORE to MUNICH is 6250.24 miles.
