i just had an instant wake up call today. like really.
Esther jolted me up with a nudge on msn, asking me about Islam. Now, i've known her like coming to gawd..13 years. since p4 actually. and i dont think we ever had a conversation as long as this. really put some insights on things. well a rundown, her bf's somewhat I know, considering he was from ac, but different batch. she's been in aussie for some time now, and her bf is simply too far away, on another continent. to cut a long story short, we had this conversation a while back about long distance relationships. my memory's a bit screwed so it's the main gist.
me: so dont you miss him? u do talk to him right?
her: yah. on msn. phone sometimes. but it's different.
me: difficult huh?
her: yeah it is. but sometimes he comes here and i'll go there.
me: tt's good.
her: yeah. a few weeks there will last an entire year. heh.
now, from this pt on, i was quite happy for her. i mean it takes a lot of effort to stay in touch for one thing, but to actually fly there. and spend time with ur partner is something that, well, i wouldnt noe of. haha. but it's kinda sweet in a way.
so back to the conversation. i seriously need a jolt in the right direction. im possibly missing all the clues but i think i should be headed to where i should be. well it's a bit abstract and im not in coherent mode, considering i have a test in 12 hrs and i still have a bit more to cover. i mean, i do miss her. dont get me wrong. i really miss talking to old friends. for one, they make u realise who u were. and probably how much you changed. two, essentially u're still the same person and for them to talk to u after all these years of separation, it's kinda cool. people come, people go. but hey, i miss catching up with people! heh. apparently her bro's in nus for 2 years. haha. and probably met him before. *shrugs*
syl was another girl i bumped into on the way to the library. she and i go way back when she was still with her ex, who happened to be a gd fren of mine back in nj first three months. it's cool hanging out with her. one, she's opinionated. two, she's hot. and three, well.. i just like teasin her. hahaha. im evil. but she's my neighbour. whom i dont see very often but i see her more in school. tat's the weirdest part. heh. probably the only thing wrong i find with her is that she smokes. call me bad but i simply dislike girls who smoke. even if they are hot, NONO. except natalie portman and jessica alba. heh. im not gonna kiss them anytime in this life. so yepp.
Keval, i met on the way back home. he's the dude whom i met during my very very first tutorial. but we go further back in ns when we were hot in forums. haha. he introed me to this guy, kia chuan, whom i think is very smart...well.. yah. haha. yeah. keval and i used to be at lt8 every wed at 2 for lecture. for two whole sems. sit same place. doodle on the chairs. third sem same lt but different time. hahaha. i'll be there 2-4. he will be there 12-2. well at least we were there at 2pm, bro. haha.
suriani. ahh. my angelic princess tak menjadi. hahaha. she's annoys me as much as i annoy her. plus she's on my mum's good books. and people keep asking me whether we are tog. and ppl keep asking her if we're together. i keep asking myself why we are not together. she keeps asking herself why she still bothers to hang out with me. hahaha. confused yet?
first time i met her i tot she was chinese. kept quiet. studying all the time. very focused. i was like wah... haha. first sem. and u study like that. of cos u go wah lar! i borrowed her notes, got her number and the rest is history. dudette calls su my movie buddy. which she is, and will forever will be. haha. su and i made a bet. she wont make it 3 in 3. i wont make it 1 in 3. heh. to those who know wat i mean. well yeah. the only way both of us get the other to fail, is for us to get together, which is HIGHLY impossible considering the odds.
jus a few people i missed talking to, and yep it feels good to talk to people. especially right now when everyone's so busy. you should take a breather. heh. catch up. instead of letting life pass you by.
