read this (in a comic book...well a letter to a comic book). struck me. cos it was related to a post on a blog i read.
"and im glad that i waited for the perfect girl, i mean, comic book. see, this comic book is like the perfect girl: damn smart, fantastically witty, totally deep, smoking hot and unbelievably exciting."
with that quote. im jus amazed which name popped in my head first. *grins* *sticks out tongue*
anyway, i would just like to point out that mary jane, as in the mary jane in the spider-man comic series, is like the perfect girl. well, to me at least. she's incredibly smart, witty and she loves her guy. even when he's swinging around, saving the world...she stil stands by her man. day after day. i think it's really hard for her. but i guess that's how love should be. the only way for u to see how far ur love will go, is to set the other free, and let them live their dreams. :)
this is from another comic book. amazing spider-man issue522.
"never let the idiots destroy your moments. because in the end, the moments are all we have."
right now, in my life. im contented. reasonably contented. i cant say i dun dare for more. but what im saying is, nothing beats the crap outta me other than the never ending work that is life.
side note: if u want me to do things for you, could u be at least be honest and say so. and tell in advance. i dont mind really. but when i have pending assignments due and u hovering over me and literally breathing down my neck, ur breath really stinks. and pls do not give me crap that it's easy, wont take long. please. if it's that freaking easy. why dont you go ahead and do it. instead of allocating stuff to people. okay done.
see. ive digressed. forgot wat to type. oh. anyways. yah. capture the moment before it's gone, for when it is gone, u will regret not having it ever again.
i've realised that i tend to type more and post more when im in a thinking mood. never explicitly typing what i wanna say, but more or less walking around the bush. probably too many thoughts lingering in my head. tt's why im trying to pile too much stuff on me, i guess. cos that way when u dont get what u want, u can always go back to mugging. heh.
my idea of a perfect girl? hah. had a list once. compiled 100 characteristics of her. yeah seems alot. shereen would attest to that, cos she did the same test. i remember it was about a yr plus ago, before she went on exchange. so i'm roughly guessing early last yr. see where she is now, and where i am now. i mean literally. she's in europe (and married) and im in singapore.
jus a random thought flashed across my mind, regarding things happening for a reason. like u were walking down the road, saw a fifty dollar note, but missed the bus..and den u find someone on the next bus whom owes u money and pays u back with interest. (im jus giving a lame example here, so bear with me). the point is. if u didnt miss that bus, would u have actually met that guy?
f and i watched "my sassy girl" the other day. and one of the things we talked about the show was that the two leads, the girl and the guy were supposed to meet. but they didnt. something else happened so they didnt meet their aunt. but it jus so happens that they do meet on the same day. in different circumstances. eventually they do meet, and finally they found each other again.
sounds familar. but one of the shows that one should watch is "turn left, turn right". now, that's really classic.
wow, i've written something long enough to actually be one half of my assignments. talk about getting back into the mood of school.
i should be running. and i mean literally. heh. ciaoz. *wears jogging shoes*
