i think i posted a lot today. anyways, leen made me remember what my bio psych lecturer talked about the upcoming bio paper. steven graham. i salute you.

this is basically a summary of what he said. others will vouch but this aint word for word.

he confirmed that the exam would be hard cos his logic is
if it's hard, ppl who have faltered during the sem can catch up
and if its not hard then everyone will do well, and defeats the purpose of the exam

also,

"u should write a couple of paragraphs but i guess i expect at the most one page answer from you guys if u cannot write for 20 mins, it's fine. if the person next to you writes, he's probably writing rubbish so relax."

and,

"i catered the exam to be 40 mins thinking time and 10 mins writing time, so what i want are answers that are creative and apply to the theories that we have covered thus far. if you write the basic concepts in the book, it's fine, but it'll only gain you 5 marks or so. that's why you dont need to carry the book. i dont see why you need the have the book, maybe a sense of security. as long as you write logically, like if the hippocampus is used for learning and is associated with parts of the brain. if u can show that, basically you get more marks than when u actually talk about the hippocampus itself."
